Ikoniq’s modular containers transformed a parking lot into Grange Grove, the ultimate game day destination for Fighting Illini fans.
In 2015, the University of Illinois elevated the fan experience by introducing Grange Grove on campus, featuring two of our modular containers: the Gameday Spirit Fan Store and the Beer Garden. These structures offer fans a central, on-campus location to celebrate their team, making tailgating more accessible and engaging.
The Gameday Spirit Fan Store delivers 900 square feet of indoor and outdoor shopping space, providing Fighting Illini fans with a convenient and covered shopping experience. The store offers team apparel, gifts, and souvenirs, creating a one-stop destination for fan gear and memorabilia.
The Beer Garden brings a recreational hub to Grange Grove, allowing fans to enjoy beverages in a covered space before and during games. This addition eliminates the need for traditional parking lot tailgating while maintaining the excitement and camaraderie of game day festivities.
Beyond game days, our modular units make Grange Grove a versatile venue for outdoor concerts and campus events. When not in use, the containers securely close, ensuring a polished appearance that enhances the campus environment.
By integrating innovative modular solutions, we helped the University of Illinois create a vibrant and versatile game day hub. Grange Grove now stands as a central gathering place that brings fans closer to the action while enhancing the overall campus experience.
